Air Force Helicopter Gunship Destroys Illegal Oil Refineries In Rivers State (Pics)

In its deliberate push to stop unlawful bunkering and criminal exercises in the Niger Delta, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) today pulverized illicit oil refineries and scows loaded with petroleum items.

The refineries and freight boats were located by NAF Diamond 42  aircraft on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission in Bille Community of Rivers State. From there on, a Mi-24V helicopter gunship was brought in for assault.

The operation was a win as can be seen from the encased photos of the unlawful refineries and flatboats ablaze. A comparable operation was done with exceptional accomplishment around 2 days back in the same area.
