The police, who landed at the scene not long after, called a repairman to break the alarmed baby out of the auto before the clubbing-aficionado mother turned up 20 minutes after the fact.

The police in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, said in an announcement that the mother had left the tyke so she could party at a dance club with her workmates.

They said the young lady confronts charges for "forsakenness of the obligation of consideration of her youngster before general society prosecutors".
