Edo Election: Buhari Has Fulfilled His Promise For Free, Fair Election, Says Amaechi

Minister of Transportation, Mr Chibuike Amaechi, says result of Edo Poll is a satisfaction of President Muhammadu Buhari`s guarantee of guaranteeing free, reasonable and sound races in the nation.

He expressed this, today, at a rally in Rivers State. Amaechi said that after the March 19 rerun decisions in Rivers, he helped Buhari to remember his guarantee to direct free and reasonable races in the nation.

He said, "I went to the president because there were more guns in hands of criminals than Permanent Voter Cards in hands of peaceful people during the March 19 legislative rerun elections.

The president guaranteed me that to signpost the way that never again will electorate be held prisoner by shooters.
