Cristiano Ronaldo was named Italian of the Year on Monday after his first season with Juventus.

Ronaldo was at the Gran Gala del Calcio in Milan to win his prize instead of taking part in the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris, where he was voted the best player in the world in third place.

The Juventus striker arrived about an hour before the grand prize was announced. He arrived more than two hours after the other guests. the team of the season.
